Our Role as a Marketplace

QARS provides an online platform for the sale of automotive spare parts and accessories. Products may be new, used, OEM genuine, or aftermarket.

  • Vendors list products for sale on our platform.
  • Customers purchase products through QARS.
  • QARS facilitates the transaction but is not the manufacturer, supplier, or direct seller of the products.
  • Vendor identities are not disclosed to customers; all transactions are managed through QARS.

Vendor Responsibilities

  • Vendors ensure products are genuine, lawful, and accurate.
  • Vendors are liable for counterfeit or defective goods.

Customer Responsibilities

  • Customers must provide accurate information and use products responsibly.

Ordering and Payment

  • Orders are placed through our platform.
  • Payment is collected by QARS on behalf of vendors.
  • All payments must be made through approved electronic methods (no cash handling).
  • Prices displayed include applicable charges unless otherwise specified.

Delivery

  • Delivery is carried out by third-party logistics partners.
  • Risk of loss or damage in transit is the responsibility of the delivery company.
  • QARS will assist in coordinating delivery disputes but is not liable for delays or damages caused by the courier.

Returns and Refunds

Our Returns and Refunds Policy governs all return and refund requests.

Limitation of Liability

  • QARS is not liable for product defects, inaccuracies, or vendor misrepresentations.
  • QARS is not responsible for damages arising from misuse, incorrect installation, or buyer error.
  • To the extent permitted by law, QARS shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

Dispute Resolution

  • In case of disputes, customers must first contact QARS customer support.
  • QARS will attempt to resolve issues amicably between customers, vendors, and delivery partners.
  • If unresolved, disputes will be settled under the laws of Qatar.
  • Both parties agree to pursue resolution through negotiation or arbitration before seeking court proceedings.

Intellectual Property

  • All website content, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is owned or licensed by QARS.
  • Users may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content without prior written consent.

Vendor Agreement

  • The Vendor Agreement will be sent via email to all applicants upon registration as a vendor. Activation on the platform will only proceed after the agreement is reviewed and signed.
  • Only individuals aged 18 or above are eligible to register as vendors on the platform.

Returns & Refunds Policy

Introduction

At QARS, customer satisfaction is important. We operate as a marketplace, with vendors/sellers directly responsible for product quality. QARS acts as the first point of contact for dispute resolution.

Product Return and Exchange

To be eligible for a return or exchange, the following conditions must be met:

  • The request must be made within 7 days of receiving the product.
  • The product must be in its original packaging, unused, and undamaged.
  • Products that have been installed, tested, or used will not be eligible.
  • Electrical products are non-returnable except where a manufacturing defect is confirmed.
  • Products ordered incorrectly (e.g., wrong part chosen, buyer’s mistake) are not eligible for return.

If your return request meets the above conditions, a refund of the product value will be issued to the original method of payment. Please allow 5–7 business days after the vendor confirms receipt of the returned item for the refund to be processed.

Special Circumstances

QARS will process refunds directly in the following cases:

  • Duplicate payment was made due to a system error.
  • The purchased item has not been delivered within 14 days from the date of invoice.
  • At QARS’s discretion, to resolve a dispute and ensure customer satisfaction.

Legal Compliance

In line with Qatari Consumer Protection Law (Law No. 8 of 2008), customers are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if a product is defective, counterfeit, or not as described. Vendors are responsible for ensuring the authenticity and quality of their listed products.

Important Notes

  • QARS is not responsible for product misuse or incorrect installation by the customer.
  • Delivery-related disputes (loss, transit damage, or delay) are handled by the contracted delivery company.
  • QARS reserves the right to update this policy in line with business practices and legal requirements.
